Tell the EPA: Public Health is Top Priority

“Dirty energy companies and corporate polluters put millions of tons of mercury, arsenic, lead and heavy metals in the air each year, ramping up the risk of childhood asthma, lung infections and other diseases.”

The Clean Air Act has kept millions of tons of toxic chemicals out of the air so far:

But now it’s time that strengthen those standards to include pollution from power plants.

“The EPA is closing one of the biggest loopholes by updating clean air safeguards to reduce mercury and other toxic air pollution from coal fired power plants. But big polluters are trying to stop these standards from taking effect.”

Please voice your support for clean air by letting the EPA know you support the Mercury and Air Toxics standards: Clean Air Saves Lives
