Heck up untill 75 or so years ago the idea of going to a hospital was, out of the question unless major complications arose (usually the doc came to you, that would be nice). As you can see by my name I'm into homesteading of all types and this is no exception. I hope lots of people read this article and are taken to taking a simpler, greener lifestyle. I eat organic food (mostly) and I always try natural remedies before the pharmacy kinds, but I don't think I would have the confidence in myself to be able to do what you and your wife did.
